Hey friends, today Nico started the day by asking me for some phonics training. He is really interested in English literacy that is why I try to offer him as much resources as possible. I have chosen this CVC worksheet to improve his reading and writing skills, he is doing pretty well!

Hey friends!! How is everything going? I am a bit busy these days with all the meetings, plannings and new adjustments but I promise that I am going to spend more time in this blog. These year I plan to improve my students spelling skills and that is why I had prepared this pop corn chart. Do you like it?  Each Monday I present new words, then during the week we play many spelling games and at the end of the week my students take a short spelling test. Do you like the idea? Do you prefer other ways to make this possible? 

Hey friends! This time I am going to show you the way we teach children how to start learning how to read in English. As you will see, first we teach the sounds of the letters by using some gestures and then we blend the sounds of each letter until reading a whole word. The same way as you can see in the video. I hope you enjoy it!

Today I suggest you this little song in which you can practice some important plurals such as mouse/mice, fish/fish, women/men or sheep/sheep..

Hey friends! I found this interesting study that show us the countries that have the most fluent English non-native speakers. Spain is considered as a moderate level, that is quite good taking into account that years ago we were not really good in English. Hi friends! As you know there are some important differences regarding vocabulary and grammar between British and American English. To quote George Bernard Shaw, the United States of America and the UK are “ two countries divided by a common language .” They can still understanding each other.
