There is a fantastic channel in Youtube that Carmen, Nico and me are using everyday to follow some yoga sessions. Most of them are in English. Each session is devoted to a story or a popular movie. Everyday you can find 30 minutes to practice some yoga postures, it will help your body and mind to stay healthy. I hope you like it!

Short version Spring is a special season. It is when the plants and flowers grow. Seeds in the soil take in water and sunlight. This makes them blossom into sprouts. When they are big we can enjoy their beautiful sights and smells. Long version Spring is a special season. It is the time of the year when all the plants grow and flowers blossom. Seeds start their growing process in the soil, where they absorb water. After some time, they grow out of the soil and become sprouts. After absorbing more water and sunlight, they will eventually develop into full-grown plants. Then we can all enjoy the wonderful sights and smells of spring.

It ´s time to keep our minds busy, so what about getting into gardening? Here I suggest you an activity, it could be related to Natural Sciences and the plants life cycle. You just need : Cotton, a plastic bag and lentils or beans  Place the lentils in the middle of the piece of cotton and fold it, then add some water and put it inside the bag. Close it and place it in a window close to the sunlight. Like this!

Before starting , REMEMBER to take your writing notebook with your pencil. Stop the video when you need it and after that, check your spelling mistakes!! Last Thursday was the official start to spring in our calendar. In Spain we are living  a really weird period in which we must stay at home because of the state of alarm. For this reason, we are not allowed to go out and enjoy springtime. For example: pepper seeds, avocado seed, apple seeds, pear seeds, watermelon seeds... all the ones you can find around your house. You can also can plant pulses such as lentils or white beans in a bag or yoghurt with wet cotton. Remember to water them with plenty of water, place them close to the sun and take care for a few days. You will see magic results! As super gardeners, it is important to check how your plant is growing that is why I upload for you this  plant observation journal that you can use once a week to see how everything is going!!

As I promised here you have the written text of both, long and short version of St. Patrick´s dictation. Long version: St./Saint Patrick´s Day is a holiday that celebrates the life of the man who brought Christianity to Ireland. St. Patrick used the clover, or shamrock, to teach the Irish people about God. Every 17th of March, people wear green clothes, have parades and feasts, and celebrate Irish traditions and culture. One tradition says that long ago Vikings left treasure in Ireland and magical creatures called leprechauns found it. If you travel to the end of a rainbow you can find their pot of gold!
