Have you ever heard of Beatrix Potter? She was a English author and natural scientist, most famous for writing the children´s book called the Tale of Peter Rabbit. Potter was born in England in 1866. She liked to keep small animals like mice, frogs, and even bats, as pets. She also likes to draw animals from her imagination. One day, she wrote a letter to her friend´s son, telling him the story of Peter Rabbit. Later, it was published and became a huge hit. After all the success of Peter Rabbit, Potter bought a farm and dedicated her life to protecting the environment. Today, her old house has been made into a museum that you can visit !
